Thats awesome, it will really make the car little more fun to drive. The install is easy...well if they send you the right part for the model( I got the Gt cai but I have a base vibe). I didn't figure it out until everything was taken apart and I had already scratched the hell out of the Cai trying to make it fit!

It'(removed) or miss. Some people easily get it on. Others, like me, have to cut quite a bit off of it to get it to work .Most of the intakes are made for Matrixes which have foglights in different areas. Our foglights get in the way so you may need to cut some of the tubing. You DO NOT want to choke up on the filter.

They'll recommend pulling the bumper off. It's generally easier to jack it up, take off the driver-side front wheel, and pull back on the splash guard (don't break it, very expensive!). You can feed it in that way. There is one mount that may be hard to screw on, so you'll need to finesse is a bit. Be sure to disconnect the battery and be CAREFUL of the MAF Sensor. Don't touch it or shake it. I'd even recommend getting some MAF Sensor Cleaner and clean it while you have it off. If you have an oiled filter don't over-oil it. I recommend synthetic filters if you have the money and access to one.

Won't fit into the rubber coupling? I found it better to put it over the throttle body and then push the pipe into it. Get a small flat head screw driver and after one side is in push the screwdriver in and push up to get it over the pipe. It's a ***** but it'll work.
