well if your cladding is none painted..the body shop wouldnt be the best way to go..if you happened to just pick it up..should go back to the dealership you got it and show them..dont know how it can just chip..i mean it is plastic....got any pics of the actual chipping of it?

Normally the Vibe is sold with the indicated cladding pieces either painted the same color as the rest of the body (monotone) or with them left unpainted as dark gray and somewhat rough plastic. From your previous picture it looks like your cladding may have been painted a glossy gray by a previous owner. You could probably either remove this paint or prep the surface properly and repaint it.

But I don't know what led the previous owner of your car to paint it and what surface preparation may have been done. Probably worth getting the opinion of a body shop or two who can look at the material and paint condition.

Are you talking about that little spot behind the rear wheel?? It definitly looks like they have been re-painted improperly... How you will go about fixing it, i couldn't say, cunsult a body shop... maybe a few different ones to come up with the best course of action... P.s. If you have a photobucket, just copy the [IMG] code at the bottom of each pic to place them in the post like i did for you... Hope you don't mind...

You can make it smaller from where you are hosting it.There should be options on resizing it.

PRESSURE WASHER.... !!!!!The way it's comming off, it should just melt under a pressure washer... But then again, i have now idea, other than paint stripper, and i'm SURE that would melt the plastic... I would again, cunsult a body shop....
