All that rain has made the summer here in Texas sooooo much cooler. It didn't break 100 year today, but I'm sure the rest of August and September will do what it can to make up for the last two months of storms.

Man, 50s and 60s is perfect for me--I HATE the heat! It's been hot and dry here too--we hardly had any rain the whole month of July and it has been hard on everything. It's been SO hot and humid, and I can't wait for a 50 degree day!

Calling for the hottest day here (in Ohio) on Wed. of around 95-98 degrees... and I'm going to be outside at Ozzfest all day, from 9am till midnight! No doubt in my mind that water will be $4+ a bottle... it should be FREE when it is that hot! I remember people just passing out and falling over from heat-exhaustion the last few years and it wasn't even this hot.

I'd like to retract my first post regarding this topic, and say that today has be officially the hottest day of the year so far at a whopping 106 degrees around 3:00 pm this afternoon. Of course that was the heat index temp in actuality I believe we were right at 100.

Wel last week it was 100 on Wednesday, 104 on Thursday, and 110 on Friday. And it just happens to be that I was working those three days for 8 hours outside. Thats is not including the heat index. With that I think it was 104, 108, and 115. I think I lost 5 pounds in that time.

...think we've trumped it today. This was taken during my lunch hour. Note the outside temperature gauge; it's usually 2-3 degrees high.Intake air temperature got as high as 120ºF when idling...wowsers.(edit corrected. Zeg)

We had 103 today, beating the previous record of 97. Yuck. Right now at 11 PM it's still around the lower 90's with a heat index of 97.
