HID Conversion

I did do a search for HID but didn't find anything, so I'm going to ask. I know the Matrix owners have made the switch, but what about Vibe owners? I'm looking for a place in the GTA (Canada) where I can purchase and get them installed at a reasonable price. Any help would be appreciated.

got some hids myself. from oznium.comi dont like them cause even if u get the highbeams working u still cant see anything but what the low beams would have shown you. and for 250$ i would have expected better. but hids alone are awsome light output and color.

Any help would be appreciated. You won't find ANY posts with HID, because you need four letters or numbers in the search. What you need to look for is 9003 or H4 hid kits. There are group buys now and again that you can pick up a set cheaper than buying them flat out. Because, the vibe has a bi-xenon bulb:most are a HID low beam Halogen high beam. You will pay more for the kit because of the extra bulb, usually 45-50bucks more for a halogen high beam/ 100-120 bucks more for a HID high beam depending on the kit.I have a halogen type of set up and I am sorry I didn't spend the extra money and get a HID lowbeam HID hidhighbeam. The set up Mrizzle05 is selling would work for you ONLY if you can find matching bulbs for his kit. NOT all bulbs are the same. It's usually paired with a ballast for use with their bulb and their bulb only. SOME, Mrizzle may be one of them that have used other manufactors bulbs with success, but you run the risk of burning out the ballast or bulb pre-maturely, and void any kind of warranty that comes with the set.Do a search under my user name, here and on matrix owners and you will find photos of my set up on my vibe, with before and after photos. I have a close up shot in my signature, both my fogs and headlights are HID.And if you don't know it already. The higher temp number, it ranges from 3000-12,000. 3,000 is yellow 12,000 is purple. If you looking for best visable light output, look at kits between 5,000 and 6,000.
