OK...I am having serious issues with my '04 vibe. about 30K miles ago i was rear ended, the only damage was the rear driverside wheel was bent inwards, everything was replaced and no problems. now It seems whenever i pull into a driveway at a angle (one tire at a time) my rear end make a creaking noise, like something is bending. i noticed it also does it when i am makeing any type of left/right/u turn. i have taken it to my dealer 3 times and my tire place looked at it twice and NO ONE can find anything wrong. I am completely clueless and need some serious help. Please someone help me out!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got hit on my passenger side last year. What they did to mine was replace the rear axle. They buy it as an assembly with struts on them from an auto recycler. They more and likely replaced at least one of the struts,so my guess your creaking would be the upper strut mount making that noise,it could even be a little loose. But it could also be creaking from any of the mounting points also.

I think kevera has this one nailed. My Volvo never had a problem other than upper strut mounts - constant creaking...

I don't know, but am going to look into it this weekend. I noticed mine is creaking also, although I don't have an accident to blame it on. I can grab the roof rails and rock the car, get a low creaking out of the rear driver side wheel area.

I'll +1 for strut mounts...My Wifes Cavy was making simiar noises from the front. never in an accident and it was the Front top strut mounts that were replaced. silent ever since.
