I think I may take off my upper spoiler and plug the holes, but I am not sure if I should sell it or save it in case I trade the car in. Has anyone done this yet>

If you decide to sell, let me know! I may be interested in buying it. I'm only about 1 1/2-2 hrs from you...

I just got back from Lake Geneva last night and I'm pretty sure that is close to Twin Lakes. I will let you know if I decide to sell the spoiler. It gives me an excuse to fishing!

i just took off my spoiler for my LGT. it's expensive to fill the holes (if you want to do it right and repaint. i guess it depends on what you want your car to look like. you could always just plug the holes and call it good.

how much should I expect to spend if I get the holes filled and painted? Is this D.I.Y. project?

well, we do trunk swaps if we can. so maybe look for someone interested in swapping out that back hatch door?

The color is satellite (silver) and there is a minor scrape on the upper right side facing the roof-rack. It is hardly noticable unless you know it's there. I may take it off today, but I am still thinking about it.

Like i said in PM i'm not worried about color my whole car is going to be getting painted once i get back

probably. it'll be a lot cheaper to just paint that rear hatch than to fill and repaint.

I would consider a trunk swap, but I have the mid-gate spoiler that I want to keep.

Well, I just took off the upper spoiler and Das Vibe looks really funny without it! I am going to give it a day or two before coming to a conclusion on selling the upper spoiler or taking five minutes and putting it back on.If I do decide to sell I will make a posting here as well as the for sale/wanted forum. scootman it probably is becaue your popup blocker is on. to check PM's click on "My Profile" in the Upper right corner, and then click "Instant Message History" and you can either open the IM to reply(youll need to turn off your popup blocker) or save it to notepad which will just open it up on the webpage but you can't reply. I also find that sometimes when i just open the IM it won't show me what was written until i write something so i always check the notepad first

Well the verdict is in....the upper spoiler is for sale. I have already had an offer for $175.00 so if anyone is still interested IM me.
