Well Winter is almost over..Right? I have dicovered that the wheel openings especially the fronts love to hang onto snow and slush...I actually accumulated enough to interfere with my steering...perhaps the Techys could smooth things out in there for up coming Models and Years....just an idea?

Another thing to do is to take it to a high pressure spray wash and use the water to cut it away so to speak from the wheel well. I did that last night. I wasn't able to get off everything, but I removed quite a bit.

I've had this problem as well, and I've never had it on any other vehicle I've owned. Until this year, when the Taurus we've had for 4 winters started doing the same thing. So I am chalking it up to an unusually cold and snowy winter, not to anything unique to the Vibe.

Just come to PA and ride the highways. If the potholes dont knock it out, the crappy bridge to road surface joints will.

PA Turnpike doesnt count. Thats a payed for highway and it BETTER be smooth. LoL Try cruising down some of the other ones, like 283 or 30. They are improving the highways a lot, but still need work.LoL I know about the cargo going zero G's. I've had that happen several times.

I was actually surprised at how I had no buildup in the wheel wells. A lot built up behind the wheels, as it got kicked up, but that eventually fell off as I was driving. I have a habit of driving into large snowdrifts too (not unintentionally ) and get very little buildup.I do think this year's snow/sand/salt mixture, though, it going to be very harsh on cars. Make sure when it seems the snow if gone for the season you go to a car wash and have the underbody done to get all that extra crap off that can destroy your undercarriage.
