amen!! haha yes most all cars resemble another car, either here in the states, or in Europe (or elsewhere) very few do we ever see a one of a kind car. thats sad.but the thing thats being misssed, is not the outside. but the guts of the car. which one is faster? more torque? handles better? better equipment?

Only Time will tell, The SRT8 Challenger is gonna have a 6.6l hemi which is supposed to put out 500hp, and the SS Camaro is supposed to get the 7.0l LS7 that is in the C6 Z06.

Ok, I'm about to show my age here. I remember when the originals were new, and I wouldn't have bought one then either. But that's just me, I think all Mopar is junk. Now if Pontiac wakes up and makes another Trans-Am based on the new CamAro, I will be all over it. I really miss my '77. But, I will be reunited with my '92 here in about 4 weeks when I head to Reno. Just wish I had the garage space to bring it back home right now. As it is, I only have "visitation rights". Oh well, someday....

I hate Mopar too but I gotta give credit where credit is due. Of the 3 retro rebirths the Challenger is the only one that looks good. The camaro is too big and the rustang..well I won't go there. However if I were to purchase one I'd buy the Camaro SS with the 427 LS7.

I MIGHT not sell one of the kids to get one of these Challengers, but I've always liked the looks of the 70-71 Challengers and Chargers, and this new iteration seems to do it justice.I hope they just don't bloat the crap out of it, and end up making it look like the mid 70's Challengers and Chargers, late 70's disco-era Trans-ams, or those pathetic 80's Chargers (a 2.2 litre WHAT?)Even though my on-going project is a 69 Firebird coupe (yay Pontiac)If a 70 Challenger had fallen into my lap (almost literally, its a long story) at the same time I would have been just as happy.
