Happy July 4th everyone.Post-A's Game fireworks as seen from Doolittle Drive across the Arrowhead estuary. LINK TO THE LOCATION - you can see the ballpark to the North-EAST of the beach that I was at. They call it "Arrowhead" cause from the air - the small island looks like an arrowhead! My set up was pretty simple - folding chair, tripod, handy IR remote and D70 - ready to go. I think all the shots were taken with the 50mm f1.8D Nikon Prime Lens.Nikon D70 | ISO 640 | F10.0 | 50mm f1.8D | 4 seconds In the middle of the show - these trail of ducks just sorta floated by in single file. It was sorta weird... never saw ducks behave like that before. We theorized that ducks have poor night vision so when it's dark - they have to stay single file to get around - sorta like ants.I sped up the shutter speed so the ducks wouldn't come out to blurry. My GF thinks this one looks like Mickey Mouse (Do you see it?)Nikon D70 | ISO 640 | F1.8 | 50mm f1.8D | 1/10th A better shot with the ducks. Nikon D70 | ISO 640 | F14 | 50mm f1.8D | 4 seconds Rest of the pics here: http://kjdragon.smugmug.com/gallery/3108085
