I wonder if the clutch just worn out. GT's are known to have weak clutch's or clutch plates...forgot which.

Man indeed. Nway now under the hand of a toyota dealer near my home... I sure hope its only the clutch and not all the transmission that is **** up. It's bad since i know since i got the car that there was a problem but pontiac never wanted to check it seriously...I'll know more in a day or two...

Seems that it was the clutch... Well the clutch was dead and now being changed at a toyota dealiship... Let's hope the tranny is ok and that everything will run fine.In brief, you know the feeling we get for the first gear at a stop... You cant enter the gear (feel block) till you are almost stop. Well the cant enter feel was the same for every gear... Very fun when you enter on the highway....It was not always, but more and more often.... If i'm lucky i get the car tonight

Yep. Changed the clutch and it run pretty good now! To bad i didnt had the chance/patience to wait for the TRD clutch but hey a new "stock" clutch is certainly better than my old dying one! . It's curious how the feel is different, it seems like i have less "gripping" but i can now shift at 7000rpm with out having touble!! Was impress by the toyota dealership i dealed with... Smooth, knowledgable and efficient. At a price yes, but at least i did get a good service! now: find the time and the courage to go the the dragway to test this baby...

Well i guess toyota dealership would touch a Vibe that is still under warranty..? But after that .. .since it's all toyota mechanic i dont see why they would refuse someone... And lets say that toyota had a much much better idea of my Vibe than the pontiac dealership i usually go.... around 1100$ for the job...
