Again.. awesome color. That was my first choice, but couldn't find a model within 100 miles that fit my budget. Nice rims, but I would worry about them with the roads around here.

Welcome... those are some killer pics! Might have to see if I can take some of those of my Vibe as well. Great color... let the modding begin! Would suggest tinting the windows first, probably one of the least expensive things to do that will make the biggest difference visually... then wheels of course (but those cost a little more)

I think that gold or bronze would look good with that blue. You also can't go wrong with a classic 5-spoke design.

so i mounted the speaker....didnt mount the power airhorn yet..it says i should mount it to metal so the heat dissipates..and not to mount it under the hood so it cant get hot or wet..lol...so im thinking under the drivers seat...any thoughts how i should do that?.....also i put 3 switches in my console down by the cupholders..and one hole for another switch that im going to make the master...for my emergency lights..ill put pics up soon..

Does or Mr.Whelan know yet that you bought HIS speaker??????? You may want to consult him on possible copyright infringment....Be warned, with that placement of that speaker, you might be asking for trouble with snow and ice... I don't totaly get the mounting bracket... does it allow it to pivot or something?? It looks like you might want to flip it, so any water will run out and off of it, rather than INTO it.... Something to consider... Looking good so far...!!

i don't think i've seen a vibe with reflective rails. if i planned on keepin the rails, i'd consider that. good call on that one

Waveresponder: You have some really nice and artful photos which reminded me that my father you to always take his cars over to Ott's "Mountain of Mums" on route 29 in Schwenksville and take pictures of them. He always timed it for when the place was closed so that the lot would be empty and he could park in front of the mums. It made for nice photos. Anyhow, I think you're fairly close to Ott's and if you haven't taken any pictures there it might be worth checking out....

ok so i installed the power supply and did all the wiring with much help from my dad last night...really 2 nights ago now...lol...i love the sound of it....and now all that i have left in store for the "pimpmobile" as of now...-mount my mini lightbar to the crossrails when i recieve them "thanks to another Genvibe Member...-install the crossrails-mount the 4 grill lights on my front license plates..(2 facing forward, 2 mounted on each side for intersection clearing)-finish the wiring to the other 2 switches (one for minibar, one for remaining 4 lightheads)-order the parts for the center console outlet...and finally do that lil mod-schedule an appointment for getting my windows tinted (32%, not until my next paycheck, 2 weeks!) then start saving up for- new rims,tires-CAI-and whatever else comes to mind...lol

so far what else has come to mind...lol..-led 3rd brake light-replace license plate lights with whiter ones-interior lighting replacements wiht whiter bulbs?-Move over > windshield banner-rear bumper guard-Perfect Fit hood deflector

so what are you mainly in for..the looks? or the performance? im going for a lil of both..rims/rubber lowered, then for performance cai, sway bars, strut bars, and possibly a turbo later down the road

waveresponder, i'm also in the philly areathe reflective tape looks cool, i bet its better in person. i'd like to paint or powder coat mine black and have a neptune and black theme goin, eventually would like a black top rear spoiler too

well right now im in for looks...ive even been looking at those fenders with the vents in em...dunno....then ill start spending on some of the performance stuff like your doing..lol

yah i was gonna paint the rails the color of my car...but then i thought of the reflective tape and how it be unique and at the same time give me a lil extra protection and visibilty driving around and on fire/ambulance calls...plus i love how drivers slow down when they see reflective markings..they must think im some authority figure...haha....that neptune, black theme sounds awesome..be sure to post up pics when you can...hey all us PA vibers need to get together sometime...are you gonna try to make the Gatlinburg meet next summer?

Posted: Sun Oct 28, 2007 7:36 am

havent thought about the meet yet, depends on what happens with me graduating and where i get a job and stuff.
