i've already had a very bad week. i'm seriously sick of the kids in this neighborhood, and this here is the icing on the cake. i'm bout ready to catch an assault charge without hesitation. i got egged a few hours ago... most likely by the same creatures that hit me with shaving cream a couple weeks ago. i went n washed it as soon as i saw it. it took some scrubbin and i got all the egg off, but my baby still smells like eggs. what can i do to get rid of the smell?? the s@#% got behind my mirror, i've had a hell of a time trying to get it out, and i'm sure it ran down behind the door trim and cladding. the temperature gets to over 100 out here every day, and i'm sure the odor's gonna get worsei'm hoping the fresh coat of meguiar's wax i put on a couple days ago helped keep it from really stickin and messing up anything. i can't see any damage, but i'm sure i'll see something as soon as the sun comes up.

Stories like that make me glad that I live in the country. Good luck cleaning up your car. You might have to remove the door panels, hose it out, and let it air out really good. I bet Whelan will have an answer for you.

about the only thing you can do for the suff you can get to is use a lot of water, like leaving egg yoke on a plate in the sink, it takes a while to get it off without scrubbing. Power washing at the car wash may help scrub where you can't get anything... Sounds like it's time for you to set up a video camera on time lapse and get them bastiches on video... That, or get a cheap "car port" that you can pull into and zip up closed... Did you ever hear about the guy that shot a 14yr old kid for walking on his lawn...!!!!

I would just wait outside one night for them with a pellet gun. Or find out where they live and do unto them. Although the best alternative would be to videotape them and send it to the police. In order to get that smell out, you can either pop off the trim and get underneath it with a quick shot of simple green, a microfiber, then once its off, simple green again with a clean micro, then a bit of wax.As far as the mirror. You can pull the glass portion out if your careful. but if that.s not and option, either get some high pressure back there or some hot/warm water constantly running through it to clean it out over time.

I just came to this forum and saw your question of a few months back. If you know what kid or kids did it, egg their dads' cars and leave a note on each that each time their kid vandalizes your car you will do the same to theirs. I'm thinking the vandalism will come to an abrupt halt. Either that or the parents support vandalism and they will lynch you, but at least then you won't care about the egging.I don't find the experience you had amusing at all. It gave me several fantasies of violent retribution that I could live better without.

I use to be a punk, but I never took it out on someone's car. I've never egged anything or done anything that will ruin something... I've had my fair share of T.P.ing and I saranwrapped a car once... but never would we intentionally ruin somebodies belongings...I'd videotape/send to police, (but make sure you make a copy)

im glad that i live in a safe secure gated neighborhood. its near Les Wexner, (Country Club neighborhood)the egging happend in my old neighborhood, got a new mercedes benz with 30 days tags on it, some kid there 3 eggs on the trunk and did $2000.00 in damage.
