Other than K&N, has anyone found the engine compartment air filter (NOT the cabin filter) around? If so, what brand and part number. Local Autozone & PartsAmerica stores don't have them.

quote:These people? The price is $57.00/plus shippingThat is a lot of money, K&N is like $50.00 from AutoZone or Pepboys. That's not too far off... including all additional costs, they are only about $10 different. Some companies have overhead and have to make up for it somewhere.. who knows, maybe they are better than K&N. I guess it all depends on preference and availablility.

I'll check and see if AMSOIL has a part number for the Vibe or Matrix for their air filter. Here's some info on AMSOIL Air filters in the mean time.http://www.twocom.com/high_performance_ ... cs/KN_test

Ok I looked in my part # reference and found that there is no air filter part# listed for the Vibe or Matrix. The 2002 Corolla, Celica and MR2 which we all know uses the same engines as the Vibe and Matrixs us air filter part # TS113. This filter was used since 2000. I have had a matrix owner purchase this air filter part number and he said it was the correct one.TS 113 is the part number.
