Anyone know if this an interchange?GM part from RockAuto runs $132, the Toyota part runs about a third.I have seen on the maintenance forum that the blower motor is a POS, many have seemed to have issues with it. But no one that I could see has answered if the Toyota part is the same.Just replaced the resistor also, and it seems mice love the top of the cabin airfilters in these things also. Wish I took a pic of what I pulled out of the thing!

I don't think so. Might fit, but I wouldn't bet on it. I know that the overall blower assembly is at least slightly different between Matrix and Vibe, since the Matrix cabin air filter is a little bit bigger than a Vibe's. Maybe used from a junkyard could save a few $

Unlikely that the blowers are the same. I was told that the Toyota Matrix AC unit is made by Nippondenso (?spelling?) and the Vibe AC unit is made by GM.

The units are different brands thus Vibes use a slightly different Serp belt. As far as motors, I would imagine the Trix to be a bit larger.
