Scored at the Junkyard, Again!!! - Twice This time!!!

I went to Johns Auto Parts, here in the Twin Cities and found my double console lid 1-1/2 yrs. ago. (BC=1, JY=0) So I decided to go back to see if I could find a center console power outlet. They had a 2003 Base Vibe and a 2006 Base Vibe. I knew the '06 wouldn't have it, so I went right for the '03. And low and behold, unscathed in the pile of madness was a untouched 12V power outlet. (BC=2, JY=0) I looked around and didn't see anything else I wanted but I looked up and saw the sun visors. Mine don't have extensions so I checked to see if the ones on the '03 did. Nope. So just for S&G, I went over to see the '06, which was bascially cut in half. I looked up for the sunvisors, Damn! They were already uninstalled. So, I went to the cargo area and lifted up a few things and saw both sunvisors under a bunch of misc parts. Someone else uninstalled them and put them in the back. I prayed that they extended, I checked, they did and let out a Yahoooo! Gooooooaaaaaaalllll! Scored again! (BC=3, JY=0). There was a guy working on a couple cars down from me and he was laughing!! I saw him and laughed also. I held up my trophy parts and he said, "It's a beautiful thing when you find what you are looking for!". I said, "Yes, it is!!". Then I got on my horse and rode off into the sunset. (Okay, I got in my Vibe and went home) lol.I only payed $25 out the door, so I am a happy camper. Now I just need to clean up the sunvisors and install them and the power outlet. I'll add it to my weekend Vibe project. So, everyone make sure you check out your local junkyards for cheap Vibe parts.

Gratz man! There's a product called Lifter-1 that will get that grease out of your visors like it was nothing. I HIGHLY recommend it! I used it on grease-footprints on beige carpet in my '79 Celica around 1996 (so the grease had been there a good long time) and it came out like it had never been there. I've also used Lifter-1 on indoor carpet tar stains with great results.
