There was one member who got an AUX adapter working with a 6CD in XM mode, but they are the only one I've heard of. I think they also have a later model year vehicle.I don't think anyone can tell you for sure what, if any, adapters will work with the 03 6CD.

I have the ipod2car setup with my 6disc in dash. But I also have an 05 XR AWD and a different stereo than you guys in that model year.Easiest thing to do, pop the silver trim from around the console, take out the 4 screws (use a magnetic driver if you have one to avoid dropping), unplug the antenna and the connector. When you pull out the HU take a look back there and see if you have an extra male adapter opening and if it matches with what the pictures of the adapter are.

you mean if it has 2 12 pin connectors? Do you have a band button or am/fm button?

Here is the HU on the 05+ Matrix. It's a little fuzzy but those buttons below the screen say AM FM Disc Text. Basically with the 6 disc you lose disc #1. And I hit the CD button twice to bring me to where it says CD-1 and that is actually your ipod.

Yea mine is a totally different HU. Ive been told that I can get the gm12-auxv2 to work with the 6 dic but I may have to play around with the jumper in the adapter to get it to work. They say to use the band button but im told using the am/fm button works. I wont know till I get it hooked up whether or not I wasted my money.

From 2005 model yar on, the radios in the Vibes and Matrix are totally different, and what is possible with one is no relation to the other.

I got the gm12-auxv2 and ti works good. with my MP3 player, it struggles, but that's cause my player is crappy. When the wife uses her IPOD on it, it sounds about equal to a CD. I found you have to play with the volumes on both to hit that "sweet spot" (I never use the "line in" plug).I don't get though, are you asking about the actual 6 disc changer, or do you want an AUX port?

Well, after ordering the kit from OEMAUTOSOUND since they claim it would work and it doesn't. I beleive its because mine is a 2003 so I just went with the fm kit. However, I warn anyone that in the future to stay away from this company. They will not take the unit back because I did not have a good enough reason and their customer service was extremely rude to my wife. Ive emailed them several times and they never reply back and they clearly state to email or call for a RMA but over the phone they say they cant give rma's out on the phone or email. Ive never heard of not having a good enought reason to return something .
