My wife likes the side air bags so I am thinking of making this dealer an offer via their internet site for this 2007 Moonstone Vibe MSRP $20,265. And I realy like the Moonstone color. My estimate of invoice is 18,993 plus adv fees. 3% hold back is $593. It has been on his lot for a while - I think a lot of buyers want the sunroof (which this car does not have) - I have no use for the moon roof. I thought I'd try $18,750. Also a condition - no more than $100 doc fees. I was surprised to see that even for my low mileage (26,000 mi) that the KBB trade in value is only 8,240 in good condition. Another dealer has the same car without the side air bags and antilock brakes. That's 1,100 in added cost but it might be worth it for safety.

I recently picked up a G6 for $13,000 that had a sticker of $20,700. Has side air bags, traction comntrol, ABS. I had $3,700 in GM card points plus got $2000 GM rebate, plus $1000 conquest rebate, plus $1000 dealer discount.

The deals will no doubt get better once the 2008s arrive, but then there will be the question of finding one with the options you want.Right now on remaining 2006s they're offering 0% for 60 months. Are there still 2006 Vibes to be found, though?
