I noticed on the Pontiac site today, XM is going to be offered in 2004! WOOHOO!!!! Seems like they ARE listening to our feedback (or it's a wicked cool coincidence)...it's just a shame the GTO is prolly gonna be my next purchase....

Dude, that puppy is SCHWEET! 5.7 L alum-block, w/ 340-hp @ 5200, and 360 lb ft @ 4000. Hydra-matic 4L60E 4-speed auto or 6-speed close ratio manual tranny. 0-60 in under 6, top speed of 160 (not that I'd ever get the chance to go that), 18" alloys, 10 speaker sound system...this car is BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm gonna go to the NY Auto Show just to see it (and the other concepts...maybe the Vibe GXP even!)...it's a beautiful car...Just afraid to see the sticker price... Yeah, I can understand that...not sure if you ever saw the G6 concept, that's a beautiful car...the solstice too...though it's unclear if the latter 2 will ever make it to production...But it's the power and luxury of the car that excites me...never had a car with so much power, much less a legendary history, behind it...Saw on 60 minutes tonight there is a Caddy concept that has 1000 hp. Nope, no typo. That's one thousand horsepower. Scary shtuff!

Prolly up with the porsche and ferrari ratings...less than 10 mpg on hwy, barely 1 city. lol.

now get me a 1000 hp electric or other alternative fuel vehicle, and baby, i'm there. lol.

I got my Pontiac mag in the mail Fri. and they have a nice article on the GXP and the GTO. I think I'll wait for that body kit. And, I have to say that I do not like what they did with the new GTO. It doesn't have any of the original lines to it like what Ford did with the new Thunderbird. Yeah, the engine sounds impressive, but it looks like any other Pontiac out there and nothing like the original GTO.

Since I wasn't around for the original GTO in any of it's various looks, the new one looks schweet to me!!!But the concept G6 has much nicer lines and a smoother flow to it...

Did you really pay $1300 for a stereo???

I paid $400 for a cassette/receiver about 4 years ago...and I thought THAT was a lot! ROFL!

I have about 8000.00 in equipment in my car,it's my hobby.Hell I have 4 pair of 2 meter rca's that are worth 2000.00!The DVD player is cool as hell though.
