The silver surfer is the 'bad' guy in the new Fantasitic 4 movie. Just saw the previews last weekend. Looks pretty cool!

This Silver Surfer started as a bad guy in life. He is essentially the squire for Galactus the planet eater. He shows up, scopes it out, then Galactus comes and devours the planet in order to stay alive. Silver Surfer starts off as bad in this movie just like in the comic book and at the end helps the 4 defeat Galactus and save the Earth, then he's good )
