Hey all...I had commented a year ago in this thread http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=27424, about my experience with the Denso plug upgrade from the original SK20R11's to the IK20's. Mentioned that I didn't notice much other than a slight improvement in the idle and a possibe slight decrease in mpg.Last week, since I was just about at the 30,000 mile mark for the last plugs, I decided to try the Bosch Fusion plugs (Bosch #4501). I must say that these were a major improvement over the IK20's. Almost to the point where I have to believe that I had a bad plug before. Very smooth idle, very smooth acceleration. The engine even sounds different... quieter... quiet to the point that I notice the valves clicking much more. I also seem to have more torque when starting off in 1st or doing a "pepsi-pause" stop 'n go in 2nd. The engine doesn't bog down nearly as much.Definitely worth considering if you're about to change the plugs. Dave

They are iridium so it sounds like they might be worth trying out. Where did you get them? How much were they? Thanks

Hi BlueCrush...I should have mentioned that. I got mine at Advance Auto for $43.01 for the set. I was going to try these then fall back to the NGK's if these didn't help. In the thread mentioned above, since changing the plugs to the Denso's IK20's I had a decrease of about 2mpg average. I also got new tires at the time, wider 245/45 so that could have helped loser the mpg. I still have those tires so now I can see if it was the plugs or the tires that caused the decrease.Dave

I also upgraded to these exact plugs. My dad got them for free from a contest at his job. They didnt make them for his car or my moms. But they sure did make them for the 03 Vibe. haha.Anyways I took the old ones out, they were Denso's. My dad said they were also how high output plugs. I didnt notice any change really. I still get **** gas mileage though. 20 MPGs cause I drive like im 18.... which I am. lol.But yeah, no difference that I can tell so far. and ive had them for a few months now.
