GenVibe - Community for Pontiac Vibe Enthusiasts

I just installed a Pioneer Avic D3 and it is really loud. I know why, but is there an easy way to fix it? I tried searching, but found nothing. The problem is that the M&T has an amp. When you wire the unit up to the speaker outputs, it gets alot of volume from the speaker outputs. Is there an easy way to either add RCA's to the metra harness, or an other way to wire in the signal output instead of the speaker output?David

Do a search on "Scosche FAI-3A" it's a about $20 at WalMart, and it will bring your output level down where it needs to be.M&T questions were one of my first searches here on genvibe, and I learned a lot from what the others have gone through before me.Diane
