Has this ever happened to you? Leaving a restaurant the other day, as I get to my car there is another Vibe parked next to mine that looked exactly the same from the back; color, moon roof, wheels, rear license frame, etc. Only when I got to the front did I see it was newer, probably an '05. I knew which was mine because it was parked on the end. I left them a GenVibe flier on their windshield.This happened many years ago with a different car. Coming out of a large mall, I found my car, unlocked it, got in, and started it up. Then I looked around inside and saw a bunch of stuff that wasn't mine. Whoa! I got out, locked it and looked around to see if anyone noticed. I found my own car in the next lane. If their car wasn't such a mess inside, I could have been half way home before discovering the mistake.What about you; got any similar stories to tell?

hehe I don't get confused on which vibe is mine anymore I've seen some that use to look like mine but never parked directly beside me anywhere.

Yeah Ano, the black skirting on yours really sets it apart. I like that alot and don't know why more owners don't do it. Do you ever get those wheels you were wanting?

theres another neptune here on campus, i walked past and thought, is that mine, did i park here, cause i would occasionally park in that area and thier windows were tinted too but saw a sticker on the side and know it wasn't mine.when i was in high school at work, more than once, a friend/coworker locked thier keys in their chevy s10, first time i was able to find a chevy key in the lost n found that worked, 2nd time another coworkers key for their cavy worked and a 3rd time i asked a random guy who just pulled into the parking lot and his worked too. these were all the real short chevy keys, dont know if they're different now

i've had that happen..someone drives around my area with a 2000 sunfire coupe..exactly like mine with tint and i swear it's the same rims..he dont have the exhaust tho..

I went to Pet Expo last year in Mom's Frosty. I had parked in a space on the end of a row on a multi-level structure. Several hours later I walk up to the car and FREAK OUT because I see the back bumper's got a HUGE dent in it. Walking up closer I see that it's a white Matrix, and one not treated well at that...parked on a different level than I did. (blush)

i was seeing double when the picture in my signiature was taken, that's for sure.i parked at the local record store once, only to come out and find a vibe parked on both sides of mine. kind of like a kinky vibe sandwich.

Happened to me rather unexpected and embarrasingly.Parked at a local store to get myself a sammich. And came out to the busy parking lot. forgot where i parked, so i walked for a bit untill i found 2 identical blue vibes side by side with the exact same interior. And since i had just cleaned out my vibe, both looked the same inside. I started to walk to the one i thought was mine, and got to the door, pressed my remote unlock just to hear the car behind me click unlocked. Just then the other driver came out of the store.very cute girl. Got to chatting and got her number.

the old car was a chevy wasnt it. i haD A 85 chevy celebrity wagon. i went to the movies after the movies me and my friends get into my car. and as im backing out my friend in the back says" hey where did this blanket with all this dog hair come from". so i look back and realize that this isnt my car. so i repark it. lock it up and find my car in the next isle. older gm cars are notorious for that. that friend had a 85 pontiac and i was able to use my key to unlock his door when he locked his keys inside.
