Hello,Well I was full of hope in Camo racing but seems they didnt get the Unichip knowledge to tune the chip. Anyone knows somewhere in the region where they would be able to dynorun/tune the unichip? Of course i have base tuning but was hoping to get the most of the chip...

Salut!

Sorry guys, just noticed you started the post in english, so here it is.I checked on the Unichip site for their vendors. I wrote them down for you in my previous post... I don't know them by experience so I can't garanty you of their quality.I don't want to discourage you but according to the most knowledgeable people on newcelica.org, any piggiback you will install on a Toyota is "almost" worthless. The OEM ECU will fight it and always end up winning the battle. You might see gains at the beginning but after a while, Toyota's ECU will change some setting to compensate the Unichip's signals and bring things back to almost normal. At the end, it will not be worth it.The best thing for you would be to go with a standalone but unfortunately for us, we don't have many (if any) shop specializing in our products. Believe me, I know...If you need more infos, don't hesitate!Ben

Kinda of a waste to try to tune the chip for a better fit with the car. Here's my advice if you want more whp:1- Sell your Unichip2- Invest in a PFC3- Contact Boosted 2.0 for advice concerning the harness. If they don't make one, he will. Linky for boosted 2.0 : http://newcelica.org/forums/member.php?u=139094- Contact JesseIL for a base map for your PFC. Linky for Jesse : http://newcelica.org/forums/me...230515- Come with me at MWR in june for a dyno tuned map for your car How's that for a plan???

It's a full ECU remplacement?Yes, your bank account will be emptier but at least you'll have something to show for it!Listen, the only thing I wanna do here is to show you that I don't think the results you'll have with the Unichip are worth the investment. IF YOU WANT TO GO THAT ROUTE, YOU'RE BETTER OFF GOING WITH THE PFC. BUT AT THE END, YOU WILL STILL HAVE TROUBLE FINDING GOOD TUNER AROUND HERE AND YOU'LL STILL WONDER, ON SOME EVENING WHY YOU SPENT THAT MUCH $$$ ON ALL THIS. JUST GIVING YOU A BETTER ALTERNATIVE THAN THE UNICHIP, IF YOU WANNA GO THAT ROUTE.Maybe you'd be better off selling the Unichip and also forget about the PFC, if you don't want to have reliability problem.Do I wonder sometimes why I spent that much on my car? YES!Does my car bring me a huge smile when stomping on mustangs, rsx, etc? YES!It's all about what you want. 1- You want more power and problems at the same time? Get the PFC!2- You want to spend less $$$ with almost nothing to show for it? Get the Unichip (I know you already have it)!3- You don't want problems and a fatter bank account? Sell your Unichip and stay OEM!As for a linky on the PFC, you can start with that:http://newcelica.org/forums/sh...91180BTW, the caps on part wasn't meant to yell at you, just making sure I got all of your attention...

Ok. I checked the apexi at the time of my unichip search... But damn that was kind of a costly chip. And isnt it another piggy back? For the unichip.... your probably right.. But made couple gtech run... and i did made some gain with the chip. Didnt had the time to test it alot since i got it in november but it does make a difference.. not a world of difference and some for sure. As to say that the gain will disapear with time... that i cannot tell for now.

Hi.Didnt had time to make a lot of research... But EFI in Longueuil dont do unichip tuning. Seems very hard to find a place. Maybe Ontario would be the way out. Hey Toronto is such a fun city........
