Hello! My name is Chelle. I'm from Essexville, Michigan. I'm the VERY PROUD owner of a 2003 Vibe GT 6 sp manual. I just bought it back in Feb. after my vw golf died on me on the highway. I'm planning on doing some mods to the car before I move down to Florida this coming summer. I would LOVE to get some pointers on where to start and where to find it all cause I'm not having any luck by any means.I also belong to the Bay City Rides car club, but yet, no one owns a vibe and my baby is the laughing stock there, so I'd love to give her the kick to show what vibes can really do.Thanks

welcome. there are quite a few members in MI. every summer there is a genvibe super meet in Fenton (i believe). Do some searches and you will see what is available. however, if you really want to kick some (removed), rio trix has his 2zz (GT motor) turbo for sale. he dyno'd up to 262 whp (292 on another dyno). now that would shut them up pretty quick. LOL

Welcome!!!! I'm sorry that the car club is not respecting you and your Vibe! Maybe when you get to Florida you can join a Pontiac club to get the recognition you both deserve! I'm sorry I can't help you with the mods...just wanted to wish you luck with your project!

Welcome to GenVibe, Chelle! Show them "Lift" and they will think differently. The ultimate "Kick" would be a turbo. If you are not that hardcorethen an intake, header and exhaust should be fine. Then get apiggyback computer like the Unichip or Camcon and get it tunedfor your mods to get the most out of them. You can get it all athttp://www.neverenoughauto.com - Brad will give you the best prices.Another place you can get everything you need is Ebay. Whensearching for parts, remember that the "Toyota Matrix XRS" is the same car and you can use the same performance parts listed onEbay or any other site.Good Luck with your quest. Don't forget to use this site's search function for finding answers to your questions also.

Taking it to redline before shifting will make it easier to stay in lift between shifts. 1-2 is tough, but keep practicing. Welcome to the family

BTW that was before the engine blew. Now it just sits in the garage and waits for me to gather up $3100 for a new used one.
