Has anyone done business with them before? The two dealers here DO NOT have body shops because they "weren't making money." Safelite says I can order a factory windshield if my insurance approves it (they will) just wondering if anyone used their services and any feedback. They say they come to you to do the repair.

I had a chip in my windshield on my old truck and they came to my house and filled it in and only took about 30 mins. very quick and responsive. I also had to replace the whole windshield on my first car, and again they came to the house and were very quick.

I had a Neon side window broken by lowlife thiefs stealing a radio. Booked the appointment on line over the weekend, dropped the car off Sunday night, had the car back Monday 4:00. I could have done it at my home, but it was more convenient to do a dropoff so we wouldn't have to be home to give the key. $200, They cleaned up the broken glass and did a good job overall. They shared garage space with a paintless dent place. I think their business practice is not to have dedicated freestanding facilities, but to share. They have a five story office in Columbus, so I wasn't concerned about them being fly by night.

I've not needed their services since 1999 but prior to that they replaced several windows in my then "fleet" of 4 cars. No complaints from me.
