Saw two 4-5" objects (not sure if they were rocks, metal or ???) spinning and flying at high rate of speed on the freeway. I had NO outs-cars all around and behind. There was nothing I could do.And boy am I p.o.'d......Guess I'm lucky we didn't get hurt, and it did NOT come back down on the rebound so NO body damage at all...The object landed on the passenger side, and the cracks go all the way from almost end to end. While driving home I could hear the glass creaking,so I'll be driving Frosty for awhile...View from inside

that sux. I lost the windshield in mine to a tree toppled during a tropical storm last summer. The guy who replaced it almost got it positioned correctly. There is a larger gap along the top than there used to be, but it is minor, most people probably wouldn't notice. My advice is make sure whoever replaces it pays attention to the exact placement of the original before they cut it loose.

Glad you're ok. Too bad about the windshield, although it could have been worse.

The good news is that most replacement glass has a nice tinted band along the top along with the dot matrix around the mirror.
