I go to search and enter 'Ram Air' or 'CAI' and get no results. These topics have been discussed a bunch.

I think this thread needs to go into forum problemsThe search page says "Words 1 character and shorter are not indexed." I hope words shorter than one character are not indexed. However, it seems like searches for any three letter words return no results. I know this happened once before, but I don't know what the admins had to do to fix it, It used to allow searching for three letter words. Three letter words are important here, things such as CAI, CEL, and MPG are probably common searches. I definitely remember running searches for CEL and getting results. It may be something that broke as a result of the database problems that took the site off line last monthYou could try doing a google search for CAI and add site:forums.genvibe.com but that will return over 11,000 hits, even those that just have CAI in peoples' signatures, so that would really only be useful if you can come up with some other words to limit the search with.

I was trying to help zedfree03 with some info on ram air, since he asked. I know there have been discussions posted on the subject.......boy, do I know, so I was just trying to help. I think joat is right, 3 letter words s/b sufficient for a search.

Interesting. I'll see what can be done, but ZeroForum's future with us may be short-lived anyway.
