GenVibe - Community for Pontiac Vibe Enthusiasts

I just received a new Carbon Fiber dash kit from a guy on EBay and it doesnt seem to fit around the stereo. The hole for the stereo is about a half an inch too big and offset to the right. (please see photo). I have the 6 CD changer and it's a 2004 Vibe with the power package. Is the stereo/ dashboard configuration different for different years or stereo options? It was only after I discovered the problem that I came here and see that a GenVibe member sells these and I probably could have saved myself a lot of grief (and $150) if I had only came here first and dealt with our members. Any info would be greatly appreciated. The fellow hasnt responded to my emails but it has only been a few hours but before I actually talk to him, I want to know the facts. If it is my mistake, I will suck it up but I really can't afford to order a new proper one so any suggestions on how I could make it work??? Thanks Guys!

Hate to say it but you have the Matrix version of that kit. contact the seller and have them send you out the right piece. Thae correct one should look like this:
