Time Left At Work thread....

I realize there are ALOT of people in here that use genvibe at work. So now we have a thread to get on and complain about how slow the day is, that it's only monday, that your co-workers are stupid, that you get in trouble just cause you drank a fifth of vodka at work.... things like that....My first thing is, I have a half hour to go... but it's felt that way for about 6 hours..... so close.... but still here.... Dang you clock... move...

Ahh this one. http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=16901 I've got about 4 hours to go, with lots to do, but I still make time for GenVibe.

8-5 on most days for me. On deadline days (tues & thurs) it's 8 til whenever I get done I don't have alot to complain about my job other than getting scolded at a lil last week for being on genvibe too much that and I only get 1 day of for Chirstmas

No one is willing (or old enough) to go bar hopping with me. I am even thinking of going out to Daytona cause I will have some friends to go out with there.

Normally I catch stuff like that. I've been on forums like this sense 1999 or so. O well 3.5 hours to go, and all my tests are humming right along. Smooth sailing from here.

Not on company premises, but doing CAD work at home, it's a little after 10pm.Normal work hours at the new job are 8am to 4:30pm, which is totally bizarre for me after doing 11+ hour days at the family business, to get home by 5:00 and actually have dinner and a chat with the wifey and not be too burned out or brain dead.AND then of course there's that Forum withdrawal thing that I had to deal with the last few days. (shudder, twitch & spasm).

I am happy cause GV is the ONLY forum that isn't blocked at work. MO, and even the caroola forums are blocked.(only4 hours and 45 minutes left today)

MO works for me at work, and Genvibe does too thankfully. It's my 10 minute break here and there that can occassionally turn into a half hour if I'm not careful. lol. Right now it's 12:40, just finished lunch, taken down time till 1pm. Then do some work, meeting at 1:30 then at 4. This week is dragging though, and as of 3pm I usually try and stop working for the day since I get in a half hour before my other teams and bosses do and start my day.

11:50AMIn the office since 7 and I've avoided "work" the entire day so far.2 more hours of evasion and subterfuge and I then can legally escape.(but 1 hr from now I'll actually be manning the escape hatch. shhhhhh......)1 thing I learned today: Yahoo messenger now works inside Yahoo email. 1 less thing on my desktop to hide when "work" gets in the way.

It's 3:10et now, I'm jetting at 4pm to catch a train back home so I can take my car to the dealer and pickup my slick Corolla CE loaner lol. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a new Camry. Either way, this week was long, it sucked, I'm going to get drunk tonight. Peace!
