Well my family name is at least lolhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WhelanWhelan along with its variant Phelan, have been anglicised from the surnames O'Faolan. This comes from the Gaelic word Faol, which mean, "wolf". Before the Norma invasion this family ruled the Kingdom of Decies, which we now call Waterford. It has since spread to further countries and is among the top most numerous names in Ireland.Thats right people bow to the royalty, (removed)!!!
