is it white or silver? lol..maybe it's just me but the first two pics look silver then the other two..plus your sig are white..so im assuming white..but it looks good

Its silver. Definitly not white. I screwed around with the contrast on my sig, I guess thats why it looks "white".

ahh ok..lol..just wanted to clear that all upeven that last image kinda looks like it's white due to the sun and all..or maybe it's just my eyes at the moment

what type of wheels are you getting?
Re: (stevovans)

I will probably be getting an 18" split eight spoke design, with black centers and a polished lip.

Yeah, bein that my custom exhaust will cost me zero, I can focus all my saving for wheels. Its so hard not to spend money!

That's fine with me, but if you want to wait for a day or two, I should have pics of my car with my new wheels on. They are due to arrive tomarrow, and they will be put on immediately. I ended up going with 18x8 Ssw Imagine wheels in gloss black w/ polished lip. They are a straight five spoke design.

im with damron on the cover..looks sick, is the lettering chrome?
Re: (RedFire2K)
Posted: Sun Apr 08, 2007 8:16 am
by ajflan
Nope, the engine cover lettering is not chrome. I just taped off the letters and then clearcoated them with the rest of the cover.

You don't have an engine cover? Just take a can of chrome spray paint and blast everything.

so is that cement slab where you like to take the vibe and do some donuts?
Re: (stevovans)
Posted: Tue Apr 10, 2007 10:09 am
by ajflan
Haha, the vibe can only spin its wheels in the rain. But due to the amount of rubber on the ground, I guess its where everyone else does donuts. Its where the new construction in my neigborhood stopped, so you can pretty much get away with whatever you want out there.

Haha,I can do a pretty good burn out with my Vibe.Base and all.But It's a little modified. But,the tires are too expensive.

What mods do you have? If my life depended on doing a burnout on dry pavement, I'd be dead. I cant even get my wheels to skip.

I figured I'd add the unichip once it's installed. I don't like to cheat and post mods that I don't actually have yet. I'm an honest guy.

One tip for pics under a bridge; make sure there is not a large body of water under it.

By the way i love the valve color. Did you order that or is it the stock one just painted?
Re: (Ninja_Logan)

Thanks! I taped off the letters and painted it myself. In person, you can see a little bit of red (the color I painted it first) in the nooks and crannies of the letters, but it's not bad enough for me to do anything about it.

Check out Mr. Grille. I have the same bumper as you do. The billet grille just covers over the middle so it looks like one piece.

i was wondering if thats how it works.....awesome thanks..........is it easy to put in? i accidenly snapped one of the pins holding the stock grille on cause i couldnt figure out how to get it off so i just taped off everything an painted it on the car haha

man that thing is sooooooo clean, you truly have one of the best looking vibes on this site!!!i wish i had some dough to spend and clean up my vibe

The mr. grille grilles for our car actually zip tie into place. It will take a little patience to get them nice and straight, but it's not to bad.
