this is kinda old news, but lately i haven't been on here for more than a couple minutes at a time. i ordered a set of fog light protectors from todd, and guess what?? i waited too long to do it. a couple days after i put my order in, my damn left side fog light got hit. it probably happened when i was driving on the freeway. so now i've joined vibr8tr in the hunt for a left side fog ight. so if anyone else has a new vibe w/ good protectors, i STRONGLY recommend that you spend the $25-$35 to get a set of these asap, especially if you do a lot of highway/freeway driving

but there is one good thing that happened this month; MRCN RCE had his first birthday on feb. 21st!!! i'll be accepting the presents for him. he needs new shoes(wheels/tires), and would like to get the last two stages of the surgery that will unclog his respiratory system (headers/exhaust)

It's ok, the "cleared out" look for lights is all the rage with the kids these days, I hear! I hope you can find a replacement soon, and yes... Todd's fog light protectors are a lifesaver. Once you get the new light and throw the protectors on, you'll be in good shape!

i'm actually gonna throw em on as soon as i get em to protect from any more damage. and if i have to get a lil more velcro from somewhere, then so be it

Doh! Sorry to hear about this! I like the rock magnet term because they really are!My advise, get some clear silicone and fill the crack while you search. And maybe install the other sides protector... Just a thought. Oh and Josh, you need more velcro when you get a new lense, just let me know and I will mail it to you no charge! Service after he sale my friend! And many thanks for the plug! My wife lost a widshield from a rock thus why I made the covers. She too was doing highway driving for work and I knew the fogs would get hit sooner or later. Colonel Panic was my first customer and even though he does not have his car any more, continues to be a huge advocate for my product. Thanks again James!

Yeah, I still leave my lamp in cause it still works, it just get's rain in there,. and looks bad. I still hate it, but I just can't bring myself to spend $90-120 on something I use maybe once every few months.

HI-YA Vibers,I just bought a second Vibe and as I was driving it home with my Wife behind me, I noticed her Driver's side Fog Light was out. Sure enough, BUSTED!!! So know I'm on the hunt...Anyone bought from this guy on e-bay?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...d=1,1And yes, I'll probably invest in a couple pair of protectors from TOOL.

If you ask me, it sounds like a good deal for an after-market part and it is new too boot! Seems like you cannot go wrong! I have seen used go for half that amount though, but you take your chances in the bidding, since it could go higher then half of the above person and quality since it is used. When the time comes his_and_hers, and you want two, I will cut you a deal for sure on two sets!

Wow,I didn't know they were that expensive. When you get the new fog lamp, invest in MiVibe-ToolGuy's fog-lamp protectors.I have them, and will never have to worry about buying fog-lamps.

GRACIAS ToolGuy!!! I'll let you know when I'm ready to purchase. Sounds like thay get a big ! I haven't decided to buy from the e-bay guy (choice bumper) or wait for a used one. The ones on e-bay don't appear to be OEM. I'm sure they'd be fine, but ya never know. I'd like to hear from someone that has bought a pair from him (or at least that brand - TYC). ...Maybe I'll have to be the Guine Pig and try 'em out.
