what all have you guys done for aftermarket clutch/flywheel setups? I'm looking for something that can used for drag-racing and will support at least 225whp. However, I'd still like the clutch to be somewhat comfortable for daily driving.I know there are a lot of posts on this stuff already, but I want to hopefully get some more opinons and a little more input than what's currently out there.

I'd say the ACTs street clutch. I have one, but have yet to install it. They have 'puck' type ones, but they arent really good for street use.

Does anyone know anything about the Fidanza clutch? It seems like a quality product to me. I'm probably going with the Stage3.2 and lightweight flywheel. What do u guys think?

try centerforce.com (no www). I knew of them from my Neon days, and they have two options for Vibes.

Gripforce makes good, inexpensive aftermarket clutches. I went with an RPS because...well, I don't know why , I guess because it was supposed to be the more streetable aftermarket clutch one could put in a celica/vibe/matrix. If I had to do it over, I'd have gone with Gripforce after reading all the praise over at
http://www.newcelica.org and
http://www.matrixowners.com.

yeah, that definately seems to be the most popular brand on mo.comwell, it took me quite a while to find anything on gripforce, but this is what I got.http://www.competitionclutch.c...sportI think I would probably go with the Stage 3. Unfortunately that one's $495. about $150 more than the Fidanza Argh, I don't know which to go with? the Fidanza seems perfect but no one has tried it, and I don't wanna be the first to experiment. lol

For 225 WHP, there's no way you'll need the 6-puck Stage 3.. Stage 2 or even Stage 1 should be fine:from
http://www.gripforce.com/clutch.aspQuote »GRIPFORCE STAGE 1 CLUTCHGripforce Stage 1 Clutch Kit is for the daily driver. It consists of Heavy-Duty pressure plate with an organic disc. This clutch kit offers 15-20% increase in clamping force and 20-30% increase in torque capacity over stock. This is the perfect set up for any lightly modified vehicles.
