Hi!I recently had a flat battery, and since my car was restarted, the audio system (radio and CD player) haven't been working. There's a message on the display saying "1CDE---". Can anyone tell me what this means and how to get it working again?I got it back from being serviced today and it's still not working. I've heard that it's a security thing and you need to enter a special code. I have no idea what this code is, or where I can get one.Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks, Nat.

g'day natLooking on
http://www.hyundaiperformance.com it seems that you have to enter a code if the power to the radio has been disconnected for a bit. The code may have come stamped on a card with the car, or you should be able to go in to a dealer and ask them what the code is. I don't know if/what they will charge to tell you the code. In http://www.hyundaiperformance.....htmlsomebody says "or hold the BAND button while you turn the radio on you will have to do this everytime you turn it on but if you can't get a code its better than nothing."

You could also try pulling back the carpet on the front passenger side, sometimes Hyundai would put a card with the code on it underneath the carpet.Good luck!

Had the code in my Honda, stupid thing, it came with the car in the owners manual on a flimsy credit card.My gf's VW had the same thing, most American cars do not have this, more European and Jap cars, but not the Trix thankfully cause it uses an ACDelco unit.
