I realize there are a million topincs (overexaggerating) on how to install a nav, but I am so lost its not even funny. Heres the scoop:Car = 2004 Vibe w/ moon and tunesReplace Stock CD Player w/ Eclipse AVN-2454I got the unit wired last night and when I turned it on, it was severly loud...then when I muted the volume there was an audible hissing sound coming from all 6 speakers. I have read alot of people stating that in order to install the navigation I am going to have to bypass the factory amp. As far as I see it I only have 2 choices, payout $60 for the metra kit, or cut the thing apart and splice it together myself. Anyone have any other ideas???I havent seeen anything regarding the tweeters...how do I go about hooking everything up without loosing my tweeters, is it even possible.I will appreciate all help I can get with this. (anyone live local that can help me would be awesome!!!!)

Sounds like the OP already did all that since there was sound. Sounds like there is an input level problem. Hire a pro is what I say.

I did read the sticky however there was no information regarding the tweeters.I am going to attempt to create my own wiring harness this evening to avoid ruining anything.
