It should be simple, it's easy to get to on the front of the engine. An air compressor is not needed. It's plastic, so be careful with the torque specs when you reinstall it.

As far as I can see, there are 4 bolts and 2 nuts holding it on.Then the throttle-body ,hoses and throttle cable(or not if you have DBW).Doesn't look too hard, remember the gaskets too.

Alright, this is starting to sounda little better. lolSunny, my manifold is actually not the plastic one since I'm a 2003. But that won't make the torque specs any different I don't think?Kevera, do u think I need to buy new gaskets or could I just re-use the old ones when I put the manifold back on? and is there any threat of faultering the throttle cable when I take off the TB?

Sorry for the late reply as I have the flu.I would buy a new gasket and when you remove the throttle-body use white-out to mark the cable so it goes back to the original place. Are you painting the manifold?

If your going through all that work,I would replace the gaskets. But,you will have to port match them too.I'm doing that in the summer, let me know how it turns out.Good luck
