Interrior LEDs installed

I can't take credit for this idea. I picked it up from another member on here so who ever it was, speak up and take the award!Anyways, it looks soooooo awesome in person. The camera does not capture the nice hue of red it gives off. I plan on also doing what Keithvibe did with the red LEDs in the cup holders and also putting some in the dome lights eventually and also in the rear to illuminate my system. Here are pictures. In the last one I tried to get the red hue I have coming from the dome lights that reflect off the subs in the back but like I said, the camera can't capture it like it appears:

I think it was Lancer that started it, but can't swear to it.I had mine done that way too... I'm sure the owner now looks up at the three holes in the bottom of the bezel and goes "huh?" I would post a picture of what mine looked like but photobucket doesn't want to show me any of my pictures at the moment.Looks good man!

Looks good. I love the way those look, I have been wanting to do that to mine, but I want blue, and won't get the LED's until I can change some of the other colors in there.

I've only seen red a-pillargauges once in my life and I think they were on a Camaro. I know Autometer does not have any red illuminated gauges. I like the bluish green lights these give out, it makes them easy to look at, red kind of gets irritating after a while if it's right in your face. The difference in color takes away from the red gauges.I tried finding the post of who ever did this first, I know it wasn't that long ago. I wanted to see how they wired it and all that but I couldn't find it.

did you put the LED's on the radio bezel or on the HVAC bezel? looks like it's on the underside of the radio bezel, if so.. NICE.. slick... me likes

very nice indeed. Nothing like custom looks. I think the only thing I would have changed is gotten flat head LEDs in either red or soft white and had them mount flush against the underside of the radio portion of the bezel so you see nothing but the glow. Right now Im in the process of changing my PRND12 to all red to match the interior.

Thanks everyone Like I said, I can't take credit for the idea but it looks awesome IMO.The only problem was that there is not a lot of room to fit anything under the radio. I do have them mounted under the silver plastic that circles the radio. I had to squash down all the wires and use a screw driver to kind of bend the plastic cover while I snapped it back into place. The wires and stuff hardly fit under the radio.

Same place as Keithvibe. Autozone Alot easier than wiring in your own resistors and all that b/s.

Yeah, it was me. Looks cool from the back, doesn't it!Also, Auto metermakes gauges that come with red and gren covers for the lights inside them. My boost guage is an Autometer and is red.
