Will Lubricating The Belt Tensioner Quiet the Noise I Hear?

This Noise Is Driving Me Insane ..I Wake Up In the Morning And Start My Car And Put It In Drive Or Reverse And It Makes This Horrible Sound And I Heard From A Friend It May Be The BElt Tensioner...Will Greasing It Make It Quiet Or Will It Need Replacing ? (any help is appreciated)

+Plus Ten Thousand! Vibetronic, from what I gather, you shouldn't use any sort of lubricant on these serpentine belts... May do more harm than good. You're probably in need of replacing the tensioner all together. A couple hundred bucks, IIRC. A few here have had problems with it...

If your are sure the tensioner is the cause of your insanity, I would just replace the tensioner. And since you already removed the belt, install a new one.

Thnx Everyone For Your Help (Oh To Answer QuestioN From Other Viewers Its A Habit With Me Typing Capitals Im Trying To Get Out Of It But Its Hard...lol...) Anyweys At Almost 80,000 I Guess Its Just That Time To Replace I Wonder Is It Easy To Replace???

are you sure it's the tensioner?probably is, but before you run out and replace it... have it listened to by someone that will know first hand.Theres nothing like swaping a part out and listening to the same noise the next morning.
