Heater fan

Started my car, it was cold (-15C) last night, so i turned on my car heater fan to high. Once the car is warmed up, I turned it down a notch...except the fan completely stopped blowing. Seems like I only have the high setting. Not sure what might be wrong w/ it. Any clues?1. If it is the blower motor, how can it function w/ only 1 speed?2. If it's the fuse, how can it still function w/ the high speed?ps: I have 2004 Vibe

the answer to both is neitherthe problem is the blower motor resistora componant that provides voltage resistance to the blower motor allowing you to have varying speeds.niether a fuse nor a blower motor.

Awesome! Thanks for the link. Reading it, I'm sure it's the same deal.
