Since the movie is based on a graphic novel by Frank Miller (compiled in 1999), and the graphic novel was inspired by the 1962 film The 300 Spartans, is this considered a remake?

i watched somethinng called "300 the last stand" on the history channel last nightand saw the movie todayit kinda ruined it a little for me, but it was still a good movie

that movie looks amazing..is it all animation? or actual actors..kinda looks like it's animated..maybe it's just me

Dude if you went to the iMax at AMC we were at the same show!It was such an AWESOME movie. There hasn't been any real good movies out in a while but this was was just awesome. Totally worth the $12.

its mostly actors about 90% and all done in front of a blue/green screen and everything else was digitaly enhanced or made.

btw just so you all know i'm incredibly jealous of all of you... i wanted to see that movie since i first saw a trailer for it last may. and i got deployed the day before it came out in the theater. Looks like i'm going to have to download it.

What an awesome movie...gotta see it again!

yeah i knew the basics of the story.. 300 spartans fighting millions of persians and all but that show on the history channel was basically the movie in a nutshell with really bad acting and graphics
