Hi Phantom,I believe both are under the vehicle. I changed my 1st o2 sensor, it was directly before the Catalytic Converter (After pre-cat). The 2nd o2 sensor is immediately after the Catalytic Converter. Assuming it's the same for the Base, but not sure. If you have the GT, that's where they are for sure.Dave

I don't have a picture but you don't really need one. On a base the first sensor is on the exhaust manifold. You'll need to remove the heat shield to get to it. It is extremely tight and it's a PITA to remove. Why do you want to clean it? Is the CEL on and you read the code as an oxygen sensor problem?
pics please!

thanks to the pictures provided here:
http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id ... lustrating where the IACV is lacated, i think i can tackle cleaning that part also and see if it can help the rough idling.i'd love a picture to see where it is located so i can decide if i want to tackle it. i've only gone under the car to change the oil to the amazing German Castrol 0-w30, the one you can only buy at Autozone and it has to say "Made in Germany" on the back. that's the REAL synthetic PAO based oil. and to do a drain and refil on the transmission oil. i saw all those covers under the car, i'd rather not mess with them unless i know where to go. and i need to see about the oxygen sensor because i seafoamed through the throttle body a few months ago and had a CEL about spark plug misfires, had a CEL last week about running too lean on bank 1.didn't know this but pouring seafoam thru TB can gum up your O2 sensors with all the soot that comes out the exhaust and naturally has to go thru the O2 sensors to get there. i imagine my O2 sensors are carbon filled, that's why i need a picture of where they are so i can see if i can take the first one off and clean it.here is where my trevails started:
