When she arrived at work, three men ambushed her. Messer says they jumped in her car, put a gun to her head and put a jacket over her head before they sped off.The woman was talking on a cell phone with her mother when the mom heard her daughter scream and the phone went dead. The mother called police who began searching for the woman but got the break they needed when the mother remembered that her daughter’s new Cadillac was equipped with OnStar, an onboard GPS system which can help locate a vehicle.Police contacted OnStar, which immediately located the Cadillac traveling southbound on I-95 in Oakland Park.BSO Deputies spotted the stolen Cadillac at NW 47th and Sunrise Boulevard in Lauderhill, but when they tried to pull the vehicle over, the driver sped off and the police pursuit was on.That pursuit ended in Plantation when the driver crashed into a red pickup truck and then a pole in the area of 441 and Broward Boulevard.BSO Spokesman Eliott Cohen told CBS4’S Ted Scouten, “The victim’s car smashed into another vehicle and all three suspects jumped out of the car and took off in different directions.â€ÂAll three suspects were taken into custody and have been transferred to the custody of Delray Beach police. The 26-year old woman, who was still in the car, was not seriously hurt.(© MMVII, CBS Broadcasting Inc.
