I leave home for 2 days on the 30th and 31st and when I came back, this is what I found in my back yardA f*** Idiot broke the door of my shed, took the 1 gallon gaz tank, poor it in the pool and put fire on! He also stole my mountain bike.I don't know who made this, but I have clues: He wears Fallen shoes and had a Furum hat... He lost it when he jumped over teh fence and falled in the water. There's something like 3-4000$ in damage (only the swimming pool liner worth 2500$). Lets hope the insurance will cover everything.

The only thing I can presume, he was expecting getting more in the shed, and got frustrated, then burned out the pool!

I know if the pool brake by ice or something like this it is not covered. But this is vandalism, so I should be covered... I hope, otherwise no pool next summer

I hope the insurance does cover everything, and with the arson, hopefully the police will investigate it more than if it was just the bike. I am glad all he burned was the pool, and not the house.

I made some search and only the liner in the pool worth between 2500 and 3000$, plus the white border will have to be replaced too, so (including the weed eather, the bike and the door) there's something like 4K$ in damage, and this is if we do no find anything else wrong when replacing the liner.

I have good news (if I can say )My insurance cie contacted me. An inspector will come tomorrow to evaluate the damages. And he confirmed the pool is covered since it is vandalism.

After all, this is an arson case and is considered a serious crime.

They won't spend time an money to trace DNA for a single case like this... But more I think about this story, more I have doubt on who made (more who asked to) do this to my property.... I'll investigate a bit further to clarify my doubt, but there is too much coincidence to be only coincidence. And if my assumption are right, it will not stay like this... Cops will knock to his door for sure!

It hurts the people that you do it to, and you really get nothing out of it, except maybe some cops at your door.Sometimes I don't understand people.....
