Still no snow???

I'm not complaining but I put the stock rims on for the winter with the old bald tires and I couldn't take it anymore. It hasn't stayed below 40 for more than like 2 days at a time. So naturally I put the ADRs back on and took some pictures this past Saturday. This is som crazy weather we are having. Snow has only accumulated once so far and it was less than an inch....but hey I hate winter and snow so...

Your vibe is looking awesome as always, Paul! We got about 4-5" on New Years Eve. I tihnk it's here to stay for a while. Had some fun AWD drifting today in an empty parking lot. Always in control, though.

We had a little snow the day after Christmas but it has melted again. It was 43F here today and will be warm all week. The ski hill looks pretty sad with only 1 run open. It's too warm to make any more snow.Even the lakes barely have a skim of ice on them and that too is going to melt. Usually we are driving on the lakes by now. Not a good year to be a snowmobile salesman.

We have snow... probably 4 inches or so? I think. Now its covered by crusty freezing rain from last night. Some of it melted, some of it is still here.

Ha, yeah on New Years Eve we got about 4-5 inches of rain (removed)...not that much but we didn't get anysnow. I was definately not in the mood to drive home from my friends in snow anyways after last night Thanks for the compliments I'm sucking up all the time I can with her before they douse the roads with salt and she goes to sleep in the garage until it rains again haha.

HAHA...yeah that's downtown Mt Clemens. I should drive to the industrial district of Detroit if you wanna see dead....hopefully it's not me that dies but it would make for some nice lookin backdrop....or even along the Detroit river with the Windsor skyline in back would look nice. That's just how Michigan looks when it's cloudy....very depressing especially in winter lol. No beautiful scenery or anything, it's all flat until you get to the north western part of the state, then it gets interesting.I dunno what's up with all the gang signs all over downtown though lol...my home town had some vicious gangs back in the day but I dunno their status now. I don't live on that side of the city anymore.

Downtown Detroit is awesome, it's the suburbs and the industrial districts that are the deadly areas. I remember I took my car to like 7 mile and Schoenherr once to get it fixed( a few miles frmo downtown), aside from the fact that they did the crappiest body work I have ever seen, the area was definately making me nervous....especially since I had to leave the car there for a night....I almost bought an M14 and staked out in the parking lot just for good measure.

Old Timer, that's how it works here as well lol. Normally the day of for me. Now that I have a second car though I can hide the Vibe in the garage and trick the rain gods....HAHAHA. I'll wax it and then the clouds build up and I just say "HA! Take this!" and back it into the garage and I'm all set Thanks! They kinda follow the body lines and go with the front end.Alot of people say my Vibe looks like an Evo from the front. I remember a few car shows I went to, some people said that to me. "Hey I thought that was an Evo you rolled up in at first!" Makes me feel good I was parked next to a black one at a body shop once and they do look similar from the front, except my Vibe was lower and hte front is a little bit taller.

HA! That would cause problems for everyone in a 5 mile radius if that happened to me I had to bite the curb last winter.I was driving home from g/f's and the roads were bad, I was driving about 10-15mph under the speed limit and the light ahead was red I knew I was on ice so I started braking way back but it still didn't help, I was sliding towards a major intersection. It was at night so not as many cars out but I couldn't see pas the buildings so I didn't know if any were coming. I was already planning on buying new wheels so I just thought "oh well...." then swerved into the curb and I almost cried but it wasn't too bad.

Sears had 16 come in this morn and by 10:30 am they were all sold out! i measured the driveway yesterday when i started shoveling at 4 pm. lowest point was 13" and the highest was 17". i barely got my car into the garage, so i knew Mav wasn't gonna make it (thus my rush to try and shovel at least his side).

weather channel said accidents in Anchorage were averaging one every ten minutes yesterday.supposed to be sunny and 70 °F (21 °C) here tomorrowOil prices supposedly dropped again, one place said it was due to low demand because of the mild US winter. I'm ok with that.

Omaha got 4 inches last weekend. Looking to get another 4 this weekend I heard.Cold as a polar bears left testicle out here early this week. High of around 10 degrees. I like the whole global warming thing. It is only truly winter for about 6 weeks in January. Then it is a strange brunch like season of winter and spring. But as soon as the polar caps melt and the lack of weight causes the Earths crust to shift, North America should end up somewhere around Brazil. Then is should be nice all year around!!!

We got a token inch here in MD yesterday, not enough to be a problem or fun, but enough to be able to say we had snow.
