I love the seats. I agree about the back seats looking plain, but once you tint the rear windows, only your passengers will notice them. Is that rearview mirror the kind that works with a back-up camera?

thanks for the good comments everyone.Yea, the back seats are "blah," BUT whenever i tint my windows, im gonna keep it folded flat all the time. Basically, the back will become a bed on wheels If you are looking to get racing seats in your vibe, i recommend either finding someone that can custom make brackets, or when ordering brackets, MAKE SURE THEY HAVE A SET READY. You know, just spreading some knowledge i learned from experience.5-point harness may be in the question if i decide to get tein basics and hotchkis sways, but for the time being, the seat holds me laterally and during acceleration. I rarely have to slam on brakes, so the stock belt does just fine. 5 point harness can be annoying if your not in the mood for them, too.

Yeah, they look good as long as you can't see the back seats. lol.Nice work!

i use a 3 pt harness for autocross. it's still in the car, but ya, it can be a little annoying to buckle in. plus, i still need to actually move my arms and the harness does it's job, making it almost impossible to move around at all.

those look hot...I wanted black ones for mine but after reading your troubles I dont even wanna touch that lol...Maybe you should just burn the rear seats and for a few seconds they will somewhat match the fronts! HAHA j/k.They look alot lower to the floor than stock, how does that feel? I would be a bit concerned with that.

nice! I like 'em... but if it was me I would add some red interior accents. I'm not saying go crazy with it just add a little here and there to complete it. it's just all that black and gray and then BAM!!! there's that red haha! Still looks great! good job

Seat Comfort? Seat Height? Seat adjustability?

I for one do not like the stock seats. They are too HighThey dont have lumbar adjustabilityThey are sorta firm. The up and down adjustments are limitedI know most folks love them, but , I was actually considering going with BMW 325 seats or Acura seats or something with multiple adjustments. So, my question is,how difficult were your seats to install? How comfortable on long trips are they? How adjustable are the seats? Thanks

seriously, i don't think you're gonna find the comfort you're looking for in racing seats if you're talking about BMW or Acura seats. having ridden in racing seats for what they were actually intended for and not just for looks, i'd say they are a pretty harsh ride, not something I'd want as a daily driver. keep in mind, the Vibe is an entry level vehicle so the seats are going to be an entry level type seat. the seats you are describing are more in a luxury type sedan, not the same class of vehicle all together. good luck finding a seat that will do all you want it to do and more. sounds like you're gonna need a custom seat.

Yea, i know what you mean with the lack of accents. If I were to add things to the interior, it would be red floor mats and a dark grey shift boot with red stitching, that's all.As for installing these seats, it was a piece of cake. Four bolts and a disconnected wire, to get them in the car. To get the MATCHING brackets and the MATCHING seats took me almost.....hmmm.....yea, 5 MONTHS.But i digress....Comfort-wise i love the way these seats feel. Mucho better than stock. It is like my seat is hugging me at all times . I'll probably pick up the lumbar pillow thing Sparco sells later on, though. Gotta take care of that lower back.

Oh yea, they are lower than the stock seat height, because I hated sitting that high. I put both of the seats at their lowest mounting points. They arent outrageously low, but more of a comfortable low, if you will.

looks good kerry. i loved my Z seats for the same reason as you. it's like my car was happy to see me n wanted to hug me the whole damn time i was drivin, it was great. ::thinks:: maybe i should put some of those in my vibe...
