I used to have 2003 kia rio and i bought some of those bulbs off of ebay they were complete crap, the only lasted about 2 months and burnt out. I would recommend the sylvania silverstars they are more of a white light but closer to HID and legal in the USA

Same here, color wasn't what it was supposed to be (pink vice purple) and they burnt out pretty quickly.

i had a set in my s-10 from that company and i had a burn out in about 4-5 months. I dont think it was that particular bulb but it was the same company.

I unfortunately bought some for my truck. I didn't leave them in long enough to burn out. They were terrible. It was like driving in a blue fog. When I contacted the company they basically told me too f...ing bad you don't like them. The stock lights are far superior.

Don't buy Sylvania Silverstars - excellent light output, but still a waste of money.I'd say get either the GE Nighthawk bulbs for the premium, high light output crowd, or the Phillips Vision Plus bulbs for best mix of light output and dollar value. Note that anything with a blue coloured bulb, no matter what they claim, will have a lower light output (unless it's a higher wattage), AND will last 1/2 to 1/4 as long as non-filtered bulbs. If you want good light, get the Nighthawks or the VP's.If you want the aesthetics of colour - buy the cheapest bulbs you want, 'cause you're going to be replacing them every 4 months or so

The comparison between HID and the blue bulbs is.. Well, there is no comparison. You will swear never to drive anything else without HID. I now HATE driving my Town and Country at night. My murrano has spoilled me.

Best bulbs I have purchased and will continue to get them.

I have silverstars and my brother in law asks me if I have blue bulbs in. 3 months so far and love the light output. I can drive at night now. They do not look blue to me, but others have told me they do.

I love silverstars, but they just dont last long. 6 months is the max for me. Now that I have the DRL disabled with a switch, they may last an extra month. But yeah, those eBay bblue light specials dont last but a few months plus they may not be DOT approved.
