matrix vibe intake cosmo

ive heard alot about the matrix intake fitting the vibe but i want to double check. is anyone positive on it or actually have one on a vibe?http://www.cosmoracing.com/pro...=1260

it would work man, matrix/vibe engines are identical, due to the vibe actually having a toyota engine in it

I have one on my '05. It's a little tight at the foglight since they are further out than the ones on a Matrix but it does fit. You won't have any real problems (except for the lousy directions).But, when I changed the filter to an AEM dryflow I had to cut off about two inches from the bottom of tube to get it to fit without crushing the filter. Worth it IMO, also less of a chance of sucking up water.

I had one on my '04 and have one on my '06. I also would recommend cutting off a couple of inches from the filter end. It really makes it easy to install and to clean the filter in the future. Make sure you oil the filter before you install it. Buy a K&N recharge kit, about $13.00.
