Not sure if this is a repost, but just curious if anyone plays videogames, mainly the online games, i've got many games and a few games i'd like to see if anyone else here has and maybe hit it up one day and get a game together, a few games i got that i play online is socom:combined assault/socom3 for the ps2, also Tiger Woods '07 for the PC

oh oh I do!!! but I don't have internet at my house so no to the online part but I still love to play almost any kind of game...

sweet, what games do you have and what systems? im thinking of getting the new nintendo Wii soon, only to play all the old skool games, and some of the new games, my buddy won a ps3 and hated it, he said it wasnt all that great, specially for the price, he says the Xbox360 is much better.he also sent me an article http://www.gamespot.com/featur...pslot about the graphic comparison between the 2, and i did notice abit of stuff, the ps3 had brighter graphics, and at most times, alot of the stuff was blurry, while the 360 wasnt blurry, very clear and everything just looked right.right now I have the ps2 and my pc, which im hoping to get another one some day..either an alienware XLR or a northwest falcon pc...both are well over $5000 though

i have unreal tournament 2004 and FEAR for pc.And i have many xbox and ps2 games, but not im not an online player

i have fear for the pc aswell..after i beat it i got bored of it, thinking of getting the expansion pack, but i can see myself beating it once and never playing it again lol

scarface on PS2!!i've already beat all the GTAs, so i'm waiting for the next.

i think the next one will be on the ps3..GTA4..i've also beaten all the GTA's..from the original GTA to the newest one, liberty city stories..hell even beat the 3 on the psp aswell

you should grab ut2004 and play with me and my buddies online... its usually 2-3 of us, the more the merrier, and ut2004 is only 10 bucks! wat a deal! lol

its unfair to compare the first gen ps3 games to games from xbox360, most likely they were ported from x360 to ps3 which means they were no where near optomized for the ps3's cell processor or memory/video card. Once ps3 has a year on the market and developers learn how to utilized a 7 core proc then you will see differences. I read a article on IGN a while back from a interview with someon at EA i think that said ps3 looked better than x360 for their games they were making. so comparisons will have to wait until both systems have matured and developers know what they are doing. i still think x360 graphics are okay, like gears of war everything is shiney :/ even in the shadows the guys hair shines.any who i got a wii...and its the best thing EVER its so amazingly fun. Oh I play socom3 and combined assault online with ps2 aswell. I also have warcraft 3 for pc.

sweet deal man, ya im waiting atleast a year or so to get ps3, maybe in late '07 or even early '08 when the price drops to below $500..whats ur name on socom 3/combined assault? mines BlindDemon..i hardly play anymore...also i found a good site to get games from, specially rare games, I play alot of DDR for the ps2..and it's hard to find the games in stores..http://stores.ebay.com/GameLiquidations

oh heck yes im getting a ps3 in like a year.My socom name is northernpimpI dont play a lot now, but thats because of school work, so over break im sure ill be on. My friend is on a lot ill have to figure out his name though.. but man socom is sooooo FUN!! i also have psp and all the games and that goes online too cant wait for mgs portable ops hahah DDR is soo fun so is guitar hero, wish those were online that would be nuts. Well go get a wii for sure before online games are out and then we can wii it up

exactamundo. the xbox360 has already been out for a while, so the software has had a chance to evolve more to it's potential. just look at the newer ps2 games and how they are comparable to the early days!

ya Northvibe, i know one of the DDR's is online..forget which one it is..believe it'sDDR Xtreme or Xtreme 2..

I play Guild Wars Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall online on the PC. I have a pile of PS2 games I also play but none of them online even though I have online games and the modem stuff for the PS2. I want a PS3 but thats in the future when the prices are down... a little, better games and the bugs are worked out.

im gonna get both the ps3 when the prices are down..and the nintendo wii for my b-day maybe

The nintendo Wii looks like a lot of fun for parties but for casual playing its to much work for me lol. I like to lie back and play. relaxxxxxxx ya know eh?

The only games I've been stuck on the past couple months are Guitar Hero 1 and 2 on PS2.It seemed childish at first but it's actually addictive and fun. Especially battling with friends...fail a song, chug a beer!As expected, things usually go downhill from there.

I too do not have the gaming obession I used to have, but wow nintendo wii = amazing for the casual gaming and its awesome for laying around, cuz you dont have to have your hands on a tiny controller, you can have them relaxed on either side of your legs or what not. And you dont really have to move your arms to play, just your wrist a little , like flicking the wrist. Its just fun getting into the games and running around the room but you deff. dont have too. Actually I just picked up excite truck tonight! and ill prolly get Rayman sometime soon, but Wii play is my next purchase when it comes out

i do since i nolonger have my xbow i play PC games Need for Speed Most Wanted, NascarRacing 2003, GTR2, and War Craft .

i've also played socom since #1 came out..my current name is BlindDemonas for building my own pc..i've been thinking about it, i'd have to get some money together and build it all....when u get a motherboard..is it already pre-loaded with like windows xp and stuff? or you gotta do that your self?I got tiger woods '07, simcity 4, commandos 3, need for speed most wanted, fear, half life platinum edition, half life 2, and half life 2:episode one...i had abunch of others, like nhl 06, madden 06, and some others but sold them.

no the motherboard does not contain windows, the board is just a way for all the parts to talk to each other so you would have to purchase an operating system (windows, a new version will be coming out the last weekish of january)if you actually decide to build your own at some point there are a lot of forums online to help you learn a bit about components. i know a handfull of ppl that havent built their own cause they want a warranty, 85%+ of the parts come with a 3 yr warranty standard which is much better than the 90day standard from companies like dell that want you to pay and extra few hundred for more.

building your own computer is more fun too as far as games go... I played Star Wars: Battlefront online a lil way back when. I've since really gotten into racing games. I really like RPGs but I haven't hardly played any online ones.

I'm not a fan of RPG's at all..lol..think the only one i've ever played was FF3 for the super nintendo..im more into the racing and war games..but they gotta be realistic..i find that the more realistic the game is, the more i get into it

there are alot better ones out there since then... but to each his own

holy overpricing, i looked at that falcon northwest link. for the processor the base unit was an x2 4200 (what i have now) and the cost to upgrade to the 4400 is $445 thats 3 times the cost of the chip itself let alone the upgrade from a 4200 the upgrade should be like $50 max. also the ram they offer isnt compatible with that processor. several of the upgrade costs are greater than the cost of the componet itself

Yeah you can't compare FF3 to any of the current RPG games out there.
