Okay so VforVibe got me in the Christmas spirit with the Christmas pics thread, so I thought I would post a similar one for favorite Christmas memories/stories.I'll start by telling mine. When I was a little kid, every Christmas Eve we would go to a neighbour's house down the road for a party. One year we went - the 4 of us, Mom, Dad, Brother, me, in the truck - had a great time. But it was freezing Rain by the time we were ready to leave around midnight. We attempted to get out in the truck, but they lived down a winding, dirt, country road, with lots of hills. So the truck couldn't get up. We left it at a "T" intersection, and started the walk home. We made it to the highway (two lanes, 80km hour speed limit). But it was after midnight (now Christmas day) and still freezing rain, so that meant - NO traffic. It was great! The 4 of us spread out across the road in a line, walking home and singing Christmas carols all the way home. Anyway thats one of my favorite Christmas memories.

mine get better all the time... kids really make this season what it is.Just seeing them sitting on Santas knee... Christmas morning with their wide eyes and excitement.new memories are being made every year now... not that my old ones were bad, but having your own kids to play Santa for is really fun.

One year we brought a home a live Christmas tree and my dog wouldn't stop sniffing at it. She never payed any attention to past trees so this struck me as odd. After closer inspection I found a dead snake coiled up in the branches! Nasty.
