ok, i need some help again...my cigarette lighter next to the household plug has lost its wires...i know this thing is a warranty replacement, but i dont have a waranty on my car anymore...how do i take the trim pieces off to get to the wires in the dash? i was looking and looking on here, and could not find anything....any help would be greatthanks

awesome...thanks a lot...my project for this Friday evening do you know where i can maybe find a new lighter? the whole thing came apart when i put my new ipod dock into it...or does someone have another alternative to an ipod dock, like maybe a cheap easy way to plug my ipod into the radio

if you mean the "insert" came out, that's actually a common problem. just put it back in and use the plug of your ipod dock (or any other 12V accessory) and give it a half-turn to to the right. it should hold itself in place after that.

ok...ill see what that does when i get to it...friday is not going to work now
